Takoyaki Potatao Chips Now Available At 2 For $2.45

Inspired by one of Japanese’s favourite street snack

You don’t need to fly to Japan to enjoy the tastes of Japan! Jack ‘N Jill, the Hong Kong potato chips brand, has introduced new Japanese-style flavours including the famous takoyaki from Osaka.

A bag of this chips cost $1.40 or you can get it at 2 for $2.45 at FairPrice from now till 31 May.

The bag of chips comes with a packet of takoyaki seasonings that you can add and mix with the chips — similar to maccas’ shaker fries.

Simply delicious.

FairPrice is selling the new Lay’s Truffle Flavoured Potato Chips at $5.25 per pack (184.2g).

If you are after that unique rich earthy taste that comes from one of the most expensive food in the world, truffle, then this is for you. Mind you, truffle does not come cheap — a bag of chips can cost you as much as $10 per pack so this is a good alternative if you are looking to satisfy your cravings without splashing out too much money on snacking.

Ramen-flavoured Pringles Potato Chips Now Available At FairPrice Finest

Miso or Shoyu Ramen?

Well, it looks like Pringles has introduced several new flavours lately and ramen-flavoured chips are the latest to hit the market. The potato chip maker has launched two new ramen potato chips and they can now be found in Singapore.

If you are into ramen with soy sauce-based broth, then try the new Pringles Shoyu Ramen. If savoury miso ramen is your thing, then go for Pringles Miso Ramen potato chips.

They are available at selected FairPrice Finest outlets at 2 for $4.25 (U.P. $5.40) from now till 28 February 2021.

You can now snack on your favourite ramen

Famous ramen chain, IPPUDO, launched the ramen-flavoured potato chips across Japan last year. It has now made its way to Singapore and fans can grab a bag of the chips at selected FairPrice Finest outlets.

It is selling at $3.20 per pack (48g).

It is said to taste like their signature Shiromaru ramen which contains flavours from their creamy tonkotsu broth.

When we did a taste test, it comes out as garlicky with a subtle creamy flavour. Texture wise, it is thin and crispy.

It actually tastes not bad as we easily finish a packet at one go.

If you are a tonkotsu-ramen lover, this should be on your must-try list.
