SUSHIRO Orchard Gateway Opens 21 Aug With 1-for-1 Sushi From $2.30++

SUSHIRO is opening its newest Singapore outlet at Orchard Gateway on 21 August 2026—and the opening deals are stacked with fatty tuna, salmon, uni and more.

From 21 August to 3 September, diners can enjoy a rotating lineup of 1-for-1 sushi specials, with prices starting from just $2.30++. Each deal runs for only two or three days, so sushi fans will need to time their visit carefully.

The 1-for-1 feast starts with Bluefin Fatty Tuna

Opening weekend gets one of the biggest catches of the promotion. From 21 to 23 August, diners can enjoy two pieces of luxuriously marbled Bluefin Fatty Tuna on the same plate for $4.90++ instead of the usual $9.80++.

Here is the complete opening promotion lineup:

  • 21–23 August: Bluefin Fatty Tuna at $4.90++ (U.P. $9.80++)
  • 24–25 August: Big Red Shrimp at $2.30++ (U.P. $4.60++)
  • 26–27 August: Big Cut Fresh Salmon at $2.90++ (U.P. $5.80++)
  • 28–30 August: Marinated Uni Wrap at $3.90++ (U.P. $7.80++)
  • 31 August–1 September: Medium Fatty Tuna at $3.90++ (U.P. $7.80++)
  • 2–3 September: Aburi Soy Sauce Engawa at $2.30++ (U.P. $4.60++)

The selection moves from rich and buttery tuna to generously cut salmon, sweet red shrimp and velvety marinated uni. To close the celebration, the Aburi Soy Sauce Engawa brings a tender, lightly seared finish at one of the lowest prices in the lineup.

Spend $50 on opening day and win a guaranteed prize

Those heading down on the official opening day—21 August—will also get an extra reward. Spend at least $50 in a single receipt to take part in SUSHIRO’s sure-win spin-the-wheel activity.

Guaranteed prizes include a $10 SUSHIRO voucher, Drinks Bar coupon or limited-edition merchandise. This opening-day perk is available for one day only, with terms and conditions applying.

App reservations for the Orchard Gateway outlet open on 14 August 2026.

McDonald’s Samurai Burger Returns 20 Aug With Katsu Chicken Tenders, Kyoho Grape Soft Serve & Strawberry Daifuku Pie

Ask us questions, discover the latest offers & more on Telegram.

SAMURAI BURGER FANS, THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER. 🍔⚔️

McDonald’s Singapore is bringing back its much-loved Samurai Burger from 20 August 2026, 11am, and this comeback is much bigger than just the burger.

Joining the returning Samurai Beef and Chicken Burgers are the Tamago Samurai Burgers and Seaweed McShaker™ Fries, plus three new additions: Katsu Chicken Tenders, Kyoho Grape Soft Serve and Strawberry Daifuku Pie.

And judging by the full line-up, this could be one of those McDonald’s launches where you end up ordering far more than the burger alone.

The Samurai Burger is back

The Samurai Beef Burger returns with a juicy beef patty coated in McDonald’s signature teriyaki sauce, together with crisp lettuce and creamy mayonnaise.

Its Samurai Special Meal starts from $10.15 for Single and $12.95 for Double, with the special meal comprising the burger, Large Seaweed McShaker™ Fries and a Medium Fuze Green Tea.

Prefer chicken? The Samurai Chicken Burger also returns in Single and Double versions, bringing together succulent chicken and that familiar sweet-savoury teriyaki flavour.

There is also an egg-loaded option. The Tamago Samurai Beef Burger and Tamago Samurai Chicken Burger return with a golden egg layered into the teriyaki burgers, with the Tamago Samurai Special starting from $11.45.

NEW Katsu Chicken Tenders from $5.50

Here is one of the new additions we reckon will get plenty of attention.

The Katsu Chicken Tenders feature a crispy battered exterior with succulent chicken inside, priced from $5.50 for 3 pieces or $8.50 for 5 pieces.

And yes, Seaweed McShaker™ Fries are coming back too.

Shoppers can upgrade their meal for $1.25 to get the golden fries coated in that familiar savoury seaweed seasoning. They are available for a limited time while stocks last.

Kyoho Grape Soft Serve from just $1.50

The dessert line-up gets particularly interesting this round.

McDonald’s is introducing a purple Kyoho Grape Soft Serve from $1.50, with a creamy texture and fruity Kyoho grape flavour. It will also be available as a McFlurry® with OREO® bits.

Then there is the new Strawberry Daifuku Pie from $1.80.

Inspired by Japanese daifuku, the pink-crusted pie combines chewy mochi, sweet red bean paste and strawberry jam— easily one of the more unusual McDonald’s pie combinations we have seen lately.

There’s also a FREE Samurai game show at Bugis Junction

The Samurai takeover actually starts before the food launch.

From 18 to 30 August 2026, McDonald’s will run its first Samurai IKE! game show pop-up at the open area beside McDonald’s Bugis Junction.

Admission is FREE, with the pop-up operating from 12pm to 9pm daily.

Visitors can try three Japanese-game-show-style challenges, including squeezing through a moving Hole in the Wall, using giant chopsticks to stack fries in Fries and Furious, and wearing a soft-serve helmet while jumping to pop grape balloons in Kyoho Grape Drop.
For those feeling competitive, McDonald’s says participants can battle it out during two weekends either solo or with a friend, with cash prizes of up to $800 up for grabs. Registration details will be released through @mcdsg.

Mark 20 August for the full food drop

The Samurai Beef Burger, Samurai Chicken Burger, Tamago Samurai Burgers, Seaweed McShaker™ Fries, Katsu Chicken Tenders, Kyoho Grape Soft Serve and Strawberry Daifuku Pie will launch from:

📅 20 August 2026, 11am onwards

They will be available at McDonald’s restaurants islandwide, Drive-Thrus, McDelivery®, GrabFood and foodpandafor a limited time, while stocks last.

With the Samurai Burger returning alongside seaweed fries, crispy chicken tenders and two very tempting purple-and-pink desserts, there is plenty to work through this round.

Our first order? Samurai Burger + Seaweed McShaker™ Fries + that $1.50 Kyoho Grape Soft Serve.

McDonald’s Singapore has just given Chiikawa fans another reason to make a Happy Meal® run.

The new Chiikawa Happy Meal® toy collection is now available, with eight adorable designs rolling out across four weekly drops from 13 August to 10 September 2026. Each character has been dressed up for a different McDonald’s role — from crew and manager to McCafé barista and McDelivery rider.

And yes, some of these are ridiculously cute.

First Drop Starts 13 August

The collection kicks off with Chiikawa as a McDonald’s Manager and Furuhonya as McDonald’s Crew, available from 13–19 August.

Then comes a fresh pair every Thursday at 11am:

20–26 August: Kurimanju McCafé Barista + Hachiware McDelivery

27 August–2 September: Rakko McDelivery + Momonga McDonald’s GEL

3–10 September: Usagi McDonald’s Crew + Shisa McDonald’s Manager

The tiny McDonald’s uniforms are easily the highlight here, with familiar Chiikawa characters appearing in everything from manager outfits to McDelivery gear. Anyone hoping to collect the full set will want to keep an eye on each Thursday’s release.

Prefer a Book? There’s Something for Young Readers Too

Happy Meal® customers can also opt for a book instead of a toy.

Families can look out for the latest Happy Meal® Readers book inspired by Spider-Man: Brand New Day, bringing some web-slinging adventure to story time.

There is also a mystery selection from the “I Can” series, featuring stories centred around courage, determination, possibility and personal triumph. Each book follows the idea that even the biggest dreams can begin with small steps.

Chiikawa Fans, Take Note of the Weekly Drops

With different toys released every week, this is one Happy Meal® collection where timing matters — especially if there is a particular Chiikawa character you have your eye on.

The toys and books are available with every Happy Meal® while stocks last, and availability may differ between McDonald’s restaurants. Customers can check directly with their nearest restaurant to find out which toy or book is currently available.

New Chiikawa toys drop every Thursday at 11am.

Quantities are limited and available while stocks last. Display toys are not for sale. Happy Meal® book and toy availability may vary between restaurants.
