A Kagoshima style noodle house, established in 1972 in Kagoshima caught the attention of some noodle enthusiasts and they engaged the owners of this restaurant to share this recipe with them.They wanted to bring this particular taste of Kagoshima style noodles outside Kagoshima so with their support, they established the first Menya Sanji noodle house in Yokohama, August 2006.
In 2012, four more noodle shops were opened including second and third ones in Taipei, a first one in Guam and a first one in Singapore.

SANJI RAMEN
Wheat noodles, sliced roast pork, boiled egg that has been marinated in soy sauce is added to our pork broth and combined with menma(bamboo shoots), bean sprout and kikurage (edible fungi.) Finally thinly sliced leeks are added on top to create a perfect balance of flavor.
GYOKAI LEEK RAMEN
Our special pork broth is infused with seafood flavors to create a sumptuous seafood broth to which wheat noodles, dried sakura shrimp, bean sprouts, shaved leeks and bonito flakes are added.
SPICY RAMEN
Our special pork broth is combined with our homemade Korean style inspired chili oil and topped with sliced roast pork, menma (bamboo shoots), bean sprouts, kikurage (edible fungi) and shaved leeks.
BLACK SESAME RAMEN
A creamy pork and chicken broth infused with black sesame paste is combined with wheat noodles, sliced roast pork and sio pey chye (a cousin of spinach), bean sprouts and shaved leeks.
