As we welcome the year of Ox, get dressed up in the auspicious red and lustrous gold G-SHOCK for Chinese New Year 2021.
The watch is based on the Metal Covered series, GM-5600 and GM-6900 – comes in resin band combined with stainless steel bezel that is forged, cut, and polished in ways that give each model its own distinctive finish. The hairline finish of the top surface of GM-5600CX bezel and its matte red band reduces the overall lustre of this model. The GM-6900CX, on the other hand, uses a glossy red finish that enhances the lustre of its face and band. The back covers of these models are engraved with a logo based on the zodiac symbol of an ox.
To wrap things up, the watch arrives in a special red box packaging that symbolises luck in the Chinese culture and is a common sight in many households throughout the holiday.
