Singapore’s first beer embraces local flavours and introduces the ultimate snack pairing for TV junkies
SINGAPORE, 27 SEPTEMBER 2018 – Singapore’s iconic Tiger Beer launches the Nation’s first satay flavoured potato chips, a snack that pairs perfectly with an ice cold pint of Tiger Beer and the best that television has to offer. The limited edition potato chips will be available as a gift with the purchase of every 10 pack of Tiger Beer cans from 1 October 2018.
The homegrown Tiger brand continues to uncage local in every way, with Tiger Satay Chips drawing inspiration from the distinct flavours of one of Singapore’s favourite hawker foods – the satay. Seasoned with subtle notes of smokey goodness and cooked with a crunchy finish, this new snack is a quintessential addition to the ultimate night in for foodies, beer drinkers and TV junkies alike.
“Tiger Beer has always been committed to championing Singapore’s local street food heritage, which is why we’ve taken all the mouth-watering flavours of the iconic satay, and infused them into the classic potato chip – a delicious snack that complements the refreshing taste of Tiger Beer. The satay-flavoured chips is a Tiger invention that not only celebrates local, but brings together all the flavours we know and love,” said Faye Wee, Marketing Director of Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore.
Singaporeans can now savour their frosty Tiger Beer and Tiger Satay Chips over a gripping TV show or live football match in the comfort of their homes. For every 10 pack of Tiger Beer cans purchased, customers will receive a complimentary packet of Tiger’s Satay Chips.
This gift promotion will be available across major supermarkets and select e-retailers for a limited time only, from 1 October – 1 November, 2018.
