When coffee meets pancakes, good things happen.

Starbucks Singapore has shared a recipe to make delicious stacks of coffee pancakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 sachet of your favorite Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew Coffee (We used Colombia)
  • Chocolate drizzle and chocolate chips (optional)

Recipe

  1. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  2. Combine buttermilk, egg, melted butter, vanilla extract and Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew.
  3. Add your wet mixture to your dry mixture and mix well.
  4. Heat a pan over medium heat and scoop a ladle-full of mixture onto the pan.
  5. Wait for it to bubble before flipping it over.
  6. Repeat until you’ve used up all your batter.
  7. Top with as much chocolate drizzle and chocolate chips as you want.
  8. Enjoy!

Starbucks has just shared a recipe that shows how easy it is to make a coffee cake with their instant VIA Ready Brew coffee. Check them out below:

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoon melted butter
  • 3 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 1/3 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 sachet of your favorite Starbucks VIA Ready Brew (We used Starbucks Tribute Blend)
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon icing sugar (optional)

Recipe

  1. Grease a microwaveable mug with melted butter.
  2. Mix all-purpose flour, coffee powder, caster sugar, cocoa powder and baking powder.
  3. Add milk, egg and butter to the mix.
  4. Mix well with a mini whisk.
  5. Microwave on high for 60 seconds.
  6. Complete with a scoop of ice cream and a sprinkle of icing sugar.
  7. Enjoy!
