On 8 August, Singapore Flyer will be bringing together the nation’s favourite comedians for a side-splitting evening bursting with local flavour. Catch stand-up comedy performances by Hossan Leong and Mark Lee at 7.00pm, before taking a walk down memory lane with an outdoor movie screening of the quintessentially Singaporean Army Daze (1996) at 8.30pm.
Come 9 August, Singapore Flyer will be one of the nine official venues providing a ‘LIVE’ streaming of the National Day Parade. The Parade will be broadcast on LED screens at Singapore Flyer’s Waterfront Promenade at 5.00pm.
Visitors to Singapore Flyer can also witness the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s (RSAF) aerial salute to the nation, comprising the Black Knights performing a bomb-burst and RSAF assets in a “50” formation flypast. The celebration will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display launched from both the Marina Bay and Marina Barrage.
