Something new is brewing in the world of POP MART, and this time, it comes with a musical twist. POP MART has officially teased a collaboration between Hirono, the beloved melancholic character, and Stefanie Sun, Singapore’s Mandopop icon, under the theme “Weather With You.”
A Collaboration Fans Didn’t See Coming
The crossover between Hirono and Stefanie Sun blends art toys with music, creating a collaboration that feels both unexpected and deeply emotional. POP MART revealed the teaser with a rain-streaked window visual captioned: “Keep walking, until the rain fades into an endless blue…” — sparking curiosity and excitement across the fan community.
Hints of What’s to Come
At recent showcases, fans caught a glimpse of concept designs marked “for display only, design under review.” While details are still under wraps, the early display has already stirred plenty of speculation.
Hirono × Stefanie Sun — “Weather With You”
Details remain under wraps, but one thing is certain: this collaboration is set to strike a chord with both POP MART collectors and Stefanie Sun fans alike. Stay tuned for more updates.

Singapore’s cultural calendar gets a burst of playful energy as POP MART, the global powerhouse of designer toys, plants its flag at Marina Bay Sands. From August 22 to 24, Pop Toy Show Singapore 2025 (PTS) takes over Sands Expo & Convention Centre, uniting fans, artists, and brands in a spectacle that is part convention, part carnival, and entirely devoted to pop culture.
PTS Singapore 2025
Imagine 20,000 square meters transformed into a toy wonderland. PTS Singapore is not an ordinary expo; it is POP MART’s flagship festival for Southeast Asia. Visitors can expect exclusive product launches, artist meet-and-greet sessions, large-scale installations, and interactive activities designed to blur the boundaries between fandom and art.
Premium ticket holders will receive a Hirono merchandise pack, while all attendees will have access to raffled exclusives, reinforcing POP MART’s ability to combine rarity with spectacle. Beyond the exhibition halls, a 1,300-drone performance at Marina Bay on August 22 and 23 will animate the night sky with iconic POP MART characters, turning the waterfront into a moving canvas of light.

The celebration continues until August 31 with Hirono-inspired installations at Marina Bay Sands Event Square, featuring nostalgic Singaporean playground motifs.
Among the headlining artists are Lang, creator of Hirono; Agee and Yep, the designers behind Hacipupu; Bao, creator of Kubo; and Libby Frame, the imagination behind Peach Riot. Their presence demonstrates POP MART’s global strategy of blending Eastern and Western influences while elevating collectible design into cultural currency.
What is better than art you can collect? Art you can eat. In a collaboration that reflects the mainstreaming of designer toys, Godiva has partnered with POP MART’s mischievous character Labubu for a dessert collection that combines indulgence with whimsy.

The line-up features three limited-edition soft serves and two specialty shakes, each layered with bold toppings such as cookie crumble, strawberry pieces, and playful Labubu decorative keepsakes. Available at Godiva boutiques across Singapore (excluding Changi Airport Terminal 3 and online), the collaboration shows that character licensing now extends beyond toys and apparel to the culinary world.
Latest Labubu Collectible
For collectors who prefer their Labubu in vinyl rather than vanilla, the Labubu Summer Ride Figure launched on August 15. Priced at S$39.90, the 10-centimeter figure captures the cheeky character mid-adventure, breezing through summer on two wheels.
Compact, vibrant, and brimming with personality, this release is another reminder of why POP MART remains one of the most dynamic players in the collectible market.

From limited-run figures to large-scale drone shows and even premium desserts, POP MART continues to redefine what it means to be in the business of play.
Founded in 2010 by Chinese entrepreneur Wang Ning, POP MART began as a lifestyle store offering quirky pop culture merchandise. Over time, one product line rose to prominence: art toys. Inspired by Japan’s gacha machines, POP MART embraced the blind box model, where customers never know which character they will receive until they open the box. The thrill of surprise became its signature.
As a frequent traveller and passionate collector, I have discovered that the best travel keepsake is not a fridge magnet or postcard, but a POP MART blind box. Recently, I visited POP MART stores in Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Each location brought a different experience worth sharing.
TAIWAN
Taipei’s Ximending district is home to one of the most iconic POP MART flagships. The store spans four full levels, with a grand exterior resembling a theatre. Inside, you will find a rotating exhibition space, a VIP lounge, and exclusive merchandise featuring Pop Bean and other character lines.

During our visit just four days ago, the lines were long and products sold out quickly. Still, my sister managed to get a Twinkle Twinkle box, and I picked up a Hacipupu. Beyond the Ximending flagship, POP MART outlets and Roboshops are widely available in cities such as Kaohsiung, Chiayi, Taoyuan, and Tainan.
THAILAND
In Thailand, the POP MART craze is equally strong. The flagship store at CentralWorld in Bangkok offers limited edition collectibles exclusive to the Thai market. Additional branches can be found in major malls like Terminal21 Asoke, Siam Center, Central Ladprao, Central Westgate, and Fashion Island.

We explored the CentralWorld branch hoping to shop, but the checkout line was too long, and our schedule was tight. We left without a purchase, a reminder that timing is everything for POP MART collectors in Bangkok.
VIETNAM
Apart from Taiwan, our family’s most recent travel included a stop at Ba Na Hills in Da Nang, Vietnam. To my surprise, the POP MART store there is set inside a castle. It was a unique setting for a collectible hunt!

Vietnam currently has two official POP MART locations. One is inside Crescent Mall in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. The other, which we visited, is located inside Ba Na Hills, high in the mountains. With no queues and well-stocked shelves, we were able to buy four blind boxes in under 10 minutes.
VERDICT: MOST REWARDING POP MART EXPERIENCE
Of all the stores I visited, the Ba Na Hills location in Da Nang stood out the most. The stunning views, peaceful atmosphere, and relaxed shopping experience made it the most enjoyable. Since it requires extra effort to reach and an admission ticket to enter, it seems to keep the crowd size down and the product selection wide.
If you are planning a trip and love collectible art toys, a POP MART visit might just be the most memorable part of your journey. Whether you find yourself in Taipei, Bangkok, or Da Nang, the right blind box could be waiting for you!
