Not only will Singapore Flyer be lit in red and white over the Golden Jubilee Weekend, SG50 Awesome August @ Singapore Flyer promises a weekend of pure entertainment, complete with exciting performances and over 40 food and lifestyle booths by Fleawhere and Kerbside Gourmet from 1.00pm – 10.00pm.

On 8 August, Singapore Flyer will be bringing together the nation’s favourite comedians for a side-splitting evening bursting with local flavour. Catch stand-up comedy performances by Hossan Leong and Mark Lee at 7.00pm, before taking a walk down memory lane with an outdoor movie screening of the quintessentially Singaporean Army Daze (1996) at 8.30pm.

Come 9 August, Singapore Flyer will be one of the nine official venues providing a ‘LIVE’ streaming of the National Day Parade. The Parade will be broadcast on LED screens at Singapore Flyer’s Waterfront Promenade at 5.00pm.Singapore Flyer JPEG

Visitors to Singapore Flyer can also witness the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s (RSAF) aerial salute to the nation, comprising the Black Knights performing a bomb-burst and RSAF assets in a “50” formation flypast. The celebration will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display launched from both the Marina Bay and Marina Barrage.

Attraction SCS

Each Singapore citizen who presents his/her pink NRIC will be admitted along with up to four accompanying children (aged 16 years or below).

Permanent Residents, S-Pass Holders, Work Permit Holders and tourists can purchase a special SCS SG50 Day Pass at $25.00 that gives access to all SCS attractions.

(Note: The purchase of this Pass is applicable to visitors aged 3 years and above. The Pass will be sold at the Ticketing Kiosks at Science Centre, Annexe, Omni-Theatre and Snow City.)

Admission to all attractions is strictly by queue, on a first-come-first-served basis for entry to the various attractions during the Golden Jubilee Weekend. At any point in time, admission is limited to the maximum capacity of each attraction.
