Doritos Century Egg Flavour Is Now Selling In Taiwan

Ask us questions, discover the latest offers & more on Telegram.

Doritos has just launched one of its boldest flavours yet in Taiwan.

Inspired by the iconic Taiwanese delicacy 皮蛋 (century egg), this limited-edition Doritos takes that unmistakable umami-rich flavour and packs it into crunchy, jet-black tortilla chips. Expect savoury depth, a slightly smoky aroma, and a salty punch that’s oddly addictive — the kind that makes you reach for “just one more” triangle.

The Doritos Century Egg Flavour is set to officially hit shelves at 7-Eleven Taiwan from 7 January, but eager snack hunters may not need to wait that long.

According to local reports, while 7-Eleven initially planned the official launch for 7 January, a small number of outlets have already “jumped the gun” and quietly put the chips on shelves early. Meanwhile, Carrefour Taiwan has gone all out, with the Century Egg Doritos spotted stacked in large quantities at its stores.

As for pricing, each bag is selling for around NT$50, making it an easy impulse buy for the curious.

The Doritos Century Egg Flavour is rolling out across Taiwan now — if you don’t spot it at your nearest 7-Eleven just yet, you might want to check Carrefour instead while stocks are still plentiful.

Dian Xiao Er Introduces a New Angelica (Dang Gui) Duck Bak Kwa for Chinese New Year 2026

Ask us questions, discover the latest offers & more on Telegram.

This Chinese New Year, Dian Xiao Er is putting a fresh spin on a festive classic with the launch of its Angelica (Dang Gui) Duck Bak Kwa — a refined, herb-forward take inspired by the restaurant’s iconic Herbal Roast Duck.

Crafted entirely from duck meat, this new flavour channels the comforting warmth and fragrance of Chinese herbs into tender, bite-sized bak kwa pieces. The result is something familiar yet unexpected — savoury, aromatic, and unmistakably Dian Xiao Er.

What Makes the Angelica (Dang Gui) Duck Bak Kwa Different

Angelica (Dang Gui) is best known for its role in traditional Chinese cooking, prized for its deep aroma and gentle herbal sweetness. In this bak kwa, it adds a subtle herbal lift rather than overpowering the meat, allowing the natural richness of duck to shine through.

Each piece is barbecued to achieve a satisfying chew, delivering layers of flavour that feel balanced and well-considered. It’s not your usual sweet-glazed bak kwa — this one leans savoury, warm, and distinctly grown-up.

The bak kwa is also prepared with no added MSG, artificial colourings, or preservatives, making it a thoughtful option for both gifting and snacking throughout the festive season.

A Premium Addition to the CNY Snack Table

Priced at $19.80 for members (U.P. $22.80), the Angelica Duck Bak Kwa stands out as a modern Chinese New Year treat — ideal for hosts who want something different from the usual pork or chicken varieties, or as a conversation-starting gift when visiting family and friends.

For those who want more variety, Dian Xiao Er is also offering a CNY Bundle Special at $37.60 for two packs, pairing the Angelica flavour with the Original Duck Bak Kwa.

Availability

Dian Xiao Er’s Angelica (Dang Gui) Duck Bak Kwa will be available from 15 December 2025 at all Dian Xiao Er outlets islandwide, while stocks last. If you’re looking to elevate your Chinese New Year snack spread with something herbal, savoury, and unmistakably restaurant-quality, this one deserves a spot on your list.
