Ask us questions, discover the latest offers & more on Telegram.

If you’ve been seeing that iconic purple shake all over TikTok and wondering when it’ll finally hit Singapore… this is it.

But this isn’t just a drink launch — it’s a full-on Grimace takeover.

From a viral shake that took over the internet, to indulgent mushroom burgers, collectible merch, and even real-world activations — McDonald’s Singapore is turning this into one of the most stacked fast-food drops we’ve seen in a while.

The Star of the Show: Grimace Shake Finally Arrives

Grimace Shake (Upgrade from $1.85)

The long-awaited Grimace Shake has officially landed — and yes, it’s the same one that went viral globally.

Think creamy, fruity mixed berry flavours wrapped in that signature purple aesthetic. It’s playful, nostalgic, and honestly… built for social media.

And here’s the kicker — you can upgrade your meal to get it from just $1.85.

Not Just a Shake — The Mushroom Lineup Gets an Upgrade

Creamy Mushroom Deluxe (Single/Double) Extra-Value Meal™ (from $10.05)

While everyone’s talking about the shake, the real sleeper hit might just be this:

The NEW Creamy Mushroom Deluxe.

We’re talking:

  • Thicker, juicier beef patties

  • More grilled mushrooms

  • Creamy black pepper mayo that hits harder

If you’re already a fan of mushroom burgers, this is basically the leveled-up version.

Creamy Mushroom (Double/Triple) Cheeseburger Extra Value Meal™ (from $8.55)

And yes — the classic Creamy Mushroom Cheeseburgers are back too.

Fan-Favourite Sides Are Back

Star Potato (Upgrade from $1.20)

Small detail, big win:

Star Potato is making a comeback.

Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside — these bite-sized stars are lowkey addictive and perfect if you’re not in the mood for fries.

From 19 March onwards: The Creamy Mushroom Deluxe (Single/Double), Creamy Mushroom Cheeseburger (Double/Tripe), Star Potato and Grimace Shake will be available from 11am, during non-breakfast hours – at all restaurants islandwide, Drive-Thrus and via McDelivery®, GrabFood and foodpanda – for a limited time only, while stocks last.

Collectors, This One’s For You

This campaign isn’t stopping at food.

McDonald’s is rolling out a full lineup of Grimace merch — and it’s honestly quite solid:

  • 🥤 Grimace Tumbler (from 26 Mar)

  • 🧸 Grimace Plush (from 2 Apr)

  • 👜 Grimace Puffer Bag (from 9 Apr)

Prices start from as low as $5.90 with a meal, so this is one of those drops that will likely sell out fast.

Real-Life Grimace Hunt at Bugis Junction

Here’s where things get interesting.

From 17 March, head down to Bugis Junction and you’ll find actual Grimace installations — but it’s not just for photos.

Each Grimace comes with QR codes that unlock exclusive deals when scanned.

So yes… it’s basically a mini scavenger hunt with rewards.

Drive-Thru Bonus: Freebie + $2.50 Shake

Driving through McDonald’s soon?

From 19 March:

  • Get a FREE Grimace car decal

  • Unlock a $2.50 Grimace Shake with min. $10 spend

Not bad for a quick late-night run.

Bonus: Value Meals Are Back Too

If you’re more value-driven (your audience will love this), there’s more:

The Spicy Tomato McSavers™ lineup is back, including:

  • Filet-O-Fish

  • McChicken

  • Beef burgers

  • PLUS a new Spicy Tomato Ebi Burger

Affordable, familiar, with a spicy twist.

The Viral Grimace Shake Might Be Coming to Singapore — McDonald’s Teases Purple Surprise

Ask us questions, discover the latest offers & more on Telegram.

Something purple may be brewing at McDonald’s Singapore — and fans of the iconic McDonaldland character Grimace might want to keep their eyes peeled.

In a playful teaser email sent out on 16 March, Grimace himself appeared to “write” to fans in his signature goofy style, hinting that he has been working on “something purple and delicious”. The message was accompanied by a blurry selfie of the lovable purple character holding what appears to be a drink in a McDonald’s cup — possibly teasing an upcoming purple milkshake.

The intentionally chaotic message reads like a clumsy text from Grimace himself, complete with quirky spelling and enthusiastic exclamations:

Hi friends!! It mi, Grimace!! I’ve been working on sumthing beerry special… I’m finally bringing you my favourite thing in the wORld and more…

The selfie shows Grimace mid-snap with a drink in hand, and while the image is slightly blurred — likely due to those famously “big thumbs” he jokes about — the cup does appear to contain a light purple beverage.

A Grimace Shake in Singapore?

Grimace teases ‘i loveee shake do you #mcdsg’

If this feels familiar, that’s because the Grimace Shake previously launched in other markets and quickly became a viral sensation. The limited-time milkshake — typically berry-flavoured and distinctly purple — sparked a massive wave of social media buzz when it first appeared overseas.

While McDonald’s Singapore has yet to confirm exactly what the upcoming item will be, the teaser strongly suggests a purple drink inspired by Grimace could soon be making its way onto local menus.

What we know so far

At the moment, McDonald’s Singapore has not released official details about:

  • The drink’s flavour

  • Pricing

  • Exact launch date

But judging from the teaser, fans may not have to wait long.

The email ends with Grimace’s excited message:

“See you soon!! R u reddyyyy”

If the hints are anything to go by, a purple surprise from Grimace could be landing at McDonald’s outlets in Singapore very soon.

For now, keep an eye out — because when Grimace says something purple and delicious is coming, it might just be worth the wait.

If you thought the Sweet Paprika Burger couldn’t get any better, think again.

From 19 February, McDonald’s Singapore is bringing back its fan-favourite Sweet Paprika Burgers — but not as you remember them. This time, they’re upgraded, indulgent, and built to hit even harder.

The signature crispy chicken patty is still at the heart of it all — boldly spiced, crunchy, and drenched in that unmistakable sweet-smoky paprika flavour. But now, you get to choose your upgrade.

Sweet Paprika Burger with Chicken Bacon

This one doesn’t hold back. Crispy chicken layered with tangy Cajun sauce, fresh lettuce, and crispy chicken bacon for that extra savoury crunch. Go Single — or Double if you’re in the mood for maximum satisfaction.

Sweet Paprika Burger with Egg & Cheese

Prefer something richer? The Egg & Cheese version stacks a fried egg and melty cheese over the same flavour-packed chicken patty, tied together with Cajun sauce for that creamy, hearty finish. Also available in Single or Double. Extra Value Meals start from $9.70.

Either way, this is comfort food turned all the way up.

Something Spicy on the Side

Launching earlier from 12 February, the all-new Spicy Chicken Tenders bring serious crunch to the table. Made with 100% white chicken meat, boneless and coated in bold spicy seasoning, they’re juicy, crispy and built for dipping.

Add 3 pieces to your meal from $4.85, or go for 5 pieces à la carte from $8.95.

Perfect for sharing – or not.

And Don’t Skip Dessert

The all-new Lychee Nata de Coco Pie might just steal the show. Inside its crisp golden crust is a burst of fragrant lychee filling paired with chewy nata de coco bits for texture. It’s sweet, refreshing, and a surprisingly addictive finish to all that spice. From $1.80.

Ramadan Sharing Made Easy

This season, McDonald’s is also rolling out special Ramadan Bundles designed for easy sharing. Expect favourites like Chicken McNuggets®, French Fries and Spicy Chicken Tenders bundled together — ideal for gathering around the table and enjoying together.

Mark Your Dates

  • From 12 February (11am): Spicy Chicken Tenders available islandwide
  • From 19 February (11am): Sweet Paprika Burgers, Lychee Nata de Coco Pie and Ramadan Bundles launch
