7-Eleven Hong Kong is celebrating its 45th anniversary with a new collectible collaboration alongside New Balance — and sneaker fans may want to keep an eye on this one.
Released as part of New Balance’s Grey Days campaign, the “Mini Puzzle Magnet” collection transforms six iconic sneaker models into detailed miniature 3D puzzles. Featured silhouettes include the 574, 2002R, 2010, 990v6, 204L and 1300, with each model arriving in two colourways for a total of 12 collectible designs.
Each mini sneaker can be taken apart into six individual components — including the sole, upper, laces and signature “N” logos — allowing collectors to rebuild the shoes piece by piece. The sneakers also come with built-in magnetic bases, making them display-friendly for desks, shelves or even refrigerators.

Adding to the appeal, every pair comes packaged in a semi-transparent mini shoebox inspired by actual New Balance packaging, complete with recreated size labels, barcode details and logo tissue paper to mimic the full sneaker unboxing experience.
One of the biggest highlights is the hidden-edition 1300 model, which has been randomly inserted into approximately 5% of blind boxes, making it one of the rarest collectibles in the series. Another exclusive green 1300 version will only be available at selected New Balance stores in Hong Kong.
The collection officially launched on 20 May 2026 at participating 7-Eleven outlets and selected New Balance stores in Hong Kong.
Customers can redeem the “Mini Puzzle Magnet” sets through various stamp mechanics running till 3 July 2026. Shoppers who spend HK$20 in a single transaction at participating 7-Eleven outlets or online will receive one stamp, with additional stamps awarded for every extra HK$10 spent.
Redemption options include:
- 4 stamps + HK$56 for one random set
- 6 stamps + HK$88 for two random sets
- 20 digital stamps for one free random set via the 7-Eleven app (limited to 5,000 sets)
- yuu members can also redeem one set using 8,800 yuu points + HK$25
Each set includes one pair of mini sneaker puzzles and one matching shoebox.
For collectors who want to properly display the full collection, 7-Eleven will also be launching a limited-edition “Mini Puzzle Model Locker” for pre-order from 27 May to 9 June 2026.
The locker is designed to store up to 11 mini sneaker sets and comes in two versions:
- Standard Version (HK$288): Includes one cardboard-style locker, four mini T-shirts and one decorative sticker sheet
- Customised Version (HK$388): Includes the same accessories, but allows buyers to personalise the locker door with a custom name
Only 711 locker sets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis via the 7-Eleven app and website. Collection is expected from 1 July onwards, while the customised edition will be available from 8 July 2026.
