Goodwood Park Hotel’s much-celebrated Durian Fiesta is back this March. Celebrating 38 years of success, the highly anticipated fiesta is cracking open its green husk on 8 March to reveal a new repertoire of innovative durian pastries and perennial favourites to satiate the cravings of all durian fanatics.

From 8 March to 1 August 2021, bask in the ambrosial decadence of handcrafted D24 and ‘Mao Shan Wang’ durian pastries specially curated by the hotel’s pastry chefs. The new creations are delightfully heart-warming with creative renditions of local classic snacks as well as sweet treats that impress with luscious opulence and visual presentation.

The 2021 collection introduces irresistible confections such as D24 Pandan Waffle Cake, D24 & Sweet Potato in Chestnut Tartlets, D24 Trio Chocolate Cake, Mini D24 Salted Caramel Delights, D24 Kueh Dadar and Deep-Fried D24 in Layered Flaky Pastry. Ringing in the celebration is the special D24 Durian Combo, exclusively available from 8 to 31 March 2021. Featuring 3 new and 3 signature durian pastries, it is an indulgent collection of a piece or slice of D24 Trio Chocolate Cake, Mini D24 Salted Caramel Delight, D24 & Sweet Potato in Chestnut Tartlet, D24 Mousse Cake, D24 Puff, and D24 Crêpe.

To mark its 38th anniversary this year, Goodwood Park Hotel is showcasing selected favourites from past editions that have been dearly missed by durian fans. Reunite with four well-loved durian treats, available only for a month each, from April till July 2021. More details will be released soon.

From 1 May to 1 August 2021, the king of kings – ‘Mao Shan Wang’ durian – will be making its royal return with the signature ($78 nett for 500 grams; $156 nett for 1kg) and ‘Mao Shan Wang’ Power Puff ($28 nett per piece).

Durian lovers may visit The Deli from 8 March to 1 August 2021. Advance orders of five days are required. Guests may place their online orders at thedeligoodwoodparkhotel.oddle.me for delivery or self-collection. Alternatively, guests may visit The Deli (11am – 7pm daily), call (65) 6730 1786 or email [email protected] to place their takeaway orders for self-collection only. This year’s new heart-warming highlight is inspired by the local rendition of the warm pillowy waffles, a classic at bakeries across Singapore. And what better way to combine this favourite treat than with the king of fruits? The decadent D24 Pandan Waffle Cake features not one but three fluffy pandan waffles lathered with generous layers of rich D24 durian pulp, drizzled with caramelised coconut sauce and topped with gula melaka coconut crumble and coconut flakes. Available only from 12pm to 7pm.

D24 & Sweet Potato in Chestnut Tartlets; D24 榴梿紫薯栗子挞仔 $48 nett for 6 pieces

Chocolate and durian lovers will enjoy this masterpiece showcasing seven layers of luscious dark, milk, and white chocolate mousse, D24 durian mousse, chocolate sponge, on a crunchy base of hazelnut feuilletine, topped with a glossy dark chocolate glaze. The luxurious cake is then crowned with golden dark chocolate feathers and tuile.

Mini D24 Salted Caramel Delights; 迷你 D24 榴梿咸焦糖蛋糕 $40 nett for 6 pieces

Petite in size but sublime in flavour. The Mini D24 Salted Caramel Delights combine the buttery wonders of salted caramel with the ambrosial sweetness of D24 durian pulp. It is an alluring creation that highlights soft almond sponge, flavoursome salted caramel sauce, and durian mousse. Each mini cake is embellished with an intricate gold-dusted white chocolate disc and a spoonful of whipping cream.

D24 Kueh Dadar; D24 榴梿香兰椰丝卷 $78 nett for 8 pieces / $22 nett for 2 pieces

D24 Kueh Dadar is Goodwood Park Hotel’s duriancentric take on the popular South-East Asian confection. The pillowy soft snack features pandan flavoured crepe enveloping velvety D24 durian pulp and freshly grated coconut cooked with gula jawa, Indonesian coconut sugar.

Enjoy it with toppings of two types of coconut flakes

  • fresh, and crunchy crumbles tossed in gula melaka
