It’s been 4 months since my 40.10 SGD Korean botox injections in South Korea. Did it work?

Botox Injections at Lienjang Skin Clinic

You may have come across an article on my first-ever Botox injections at a social media-famous skin clinic in South Korea:

Lienjang.

I took that back in February, so it’s been about 4 months since my initial injections.

If you’re curious about the review of the process or somehow hearing it for the first time, click through the link to read it:

I paid 40.10 SGD for Botox injections at a famous skin clinic in South Korea. Here’s my honest review of the process

I paid 40.10 SGD for botox injections at a famous skin clinic in South Korea. Here’s my honest review of the process

Today’s post is NOT a review of the process but a review of its effects.

In other words, did it work?

Well, in short, yes, it did.

Just to give you a heads up, I’m a newbie when it comes to Botox, so my review is based on MY personal experience, and it may differ from yours since our bodies are different, yeah?

Anyway, let’s jump right into the results post-Botox injections.

The few hours after my injections, my skin felt tight.

The first night, I woke up in the middle of the night with a pretty heavy forehead, and I could barely move my forehead and its surrounding area.

I also felt a little feverish.

“Woo, it’s working!” I thought.

But after about 3 days, the ‘heaviness’ kinda subsided, and I could move my eyebrows much more freely.

At first, I was a little disappointed because I somehow wanted that tight feeling to linger around for longer.

So I Google-searched, and it seems like it’s normal, and being able to have natural movements around the forehead area is actually a good thing.

In about 5 days, the most noticeable area that was “cleared” of wrinkles was my crow’s feet (the branching wrinkles at the outer corners of my eyes).

I had injections at 3 concern areas anyway: my forehead, crow’s feet, and under-eyes.

I only saw subtle improvements on my forehead and under-eyes in about 7 days.

But fast forward to 14 days post-injections, I could see more improvements, especially after applying makeup.

Just a little FYI, I tend to exercise with my face.

You know the ugly expressions you have when lifting weights?

So after my gym sessions, I always end up with even deeper creased lines (wrinkles) on my face, and that’s one of the reasons why I decided to take on Botox injections for the first time.

But after about 2 weeks post-injections, I noticed a huge improvement in how my face looked after exercising.

Those lines that were bothering me were somehow not as obvious as before.

And my base makeup looked much better throughout the day, too.

So for 40.10 SGD, I think it’s worth a try.

But the positive effects started wearing out in about 2.5 months, and by the time I hit 3.5 months, I knew I had to book another appointment at the skin clinic.

And Lienjang happened to have an ongoing promotion this month (June 2025).

The usual price for Korean Wonder Botox (WonderTox) is 39,000 KRW (before tax) for 3 areas, but it’s 30,000 KRW now on weekdays (Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays)!

30,000 KRW = approx. 29 SGD (at the time of writing)

Just flash this image when you check in for your visit:

Lienjang Midweek Specials (June 2025)30,000 KRW is only for 3 areas btw, but if you have more concern areas, you can add on additional injection points at 15,000 KRW/point.

Just let the consultant know 😉

To book an appointment:

  • WhatsApp Lienjang Hongdae / Lienjang Myeongdong: +82-10-6329-3625

Editor’s note: Featured images were taken on a second visit.

Hey Singaporeans — Your Parents Deserve Fast, Safe Data. Here’s How to Get It FREE.

Hey Singaporeans, Your Parents Deserve Better Data Than You. Here’s How to Give It to Them — Free.

Let’s be real.

Our parents grew up in a world without WiFi, without streaming, without GPS. They memorised phone numbers, flagged taxis on the street, and paid their bills in person.

Fast forward to now — and suddenly, everything’s digital. But while we’re out here switching 5G plans like socks, many seniors are still stuck on slow speeds.

That’s about to change.

Singtel is rolling out something massive for SG60 — and it’s not just a nice gesture. It’s a digital power-up for the people who’ve always had our backs.

Here’s What They’re Giving Our Seniors — Completely Free:

  • 🧓 FREE SIM for anyone aged 60 and up
  • ⚡ 150GB 5G+ data each month for 2 whole months
  • 📞 500 mins local talktime and 100 local SMS
  • 🌏 50GB roaming data – perfect for that weekend trip or family visits abroad in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India and Bangladesh.
  • 📺 FREE VIU Premium – finally, dramas without interruptions
  • 🛡️ Scam Call Protect – because peace of mind matters

After that? Just $10/month, no contract, no lock-in, no “read-the-fine-print” nonsense. Simply top up $10 Singtel prepaid data plan from any Singtel Shop or authorized prepaid retailer or from hi!App: www.singtel.com/hiapp.

This isn’t just a telco deal. It’s Singtel saying: “We see you. And we’ve got you.”

But Here’s the Catch — It’s Not for You.

It’s for your parents. Your grandparents. Your in-laws. The makcik upstairs who always offers you pineapple tarts during Hari Raya.

It’s for the people who sometimes hesitate to ask for help with their phones — but still light up when they get a FaceTime call from you.

So if you know someone 60+, this is your moment to be their hero.

How to Get It

No apps. No confusing sign-ups. Just walk them down to a collection point with their ID.

Let’s Be Honest…

They didn’t grow up needing this. But in today’s world, staying connected isn’t optional. It’s how they keep in touch with us. How they watch their favourite shows. How they feel seen, safe, and in control.

And thanks to this SG60 gift — they can do it without paying a cent.

Even better? After the 2 free months, they can choose to continue with a low-cost, no-contract plan at just $10/month. No pressure, no lock-ins, and still packed with great value — so they can stay connected without burning through their retirement savings.

So go on. Tell your mum. WhatsApp your dad. Call your grandma.

Better yet, bring them down yourself. Get the SIM. Set it up. Show them how to use VIU. Watch a drama together.

They’ve done so much for us. Let’s return the favour — with fast data, zero stress, and a smile.
