A reader has shared with us that he has found a ready-to-drink Brown Sugar Milk Tea on the shelf at FairPrice Xpress (Esso Bedok North) . The Brown Sugar Milk Tea is under the brand Purmil, a South Korean dairy manufacturer, who also supply Korean no.1 yogurt drink Bifidus.
It is selling at $3.50 per cup (250ml). (Upon getting the tip off, we went to try it and found that it actually tastes like what you can get from bubble tea chains in Singapore.)
Not bad, considering you’d have to pay around $5 to $6 from brands such as Tiger Sugar, R&B Tea and The Alley although there are no boba pearls.
