If you are a big fan of Xing Fu Tang’s Brown Sugar Boba Fresh Milk, here’s a recipe to try at home.
Indonesian food blogger, Mrs Cuilinary, has shared the Brown Sugar Boba Fresh Milk recipe on her website and it has been a hit. According to the reviews, it tastes almost similar to the real deal.
Ingredients to make Boba (Servings for 2 people):
Brown sugar 30gm
Tapioca flour 50gm
Water 50ml
Steps to make the Boba dough:
Brown brown sugar and water with medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved and water boils
When boiling, turn off the flame and add the flour while stirring until there is no more flour remaining
Sprinkle and cover the table surface with tapioca flour, then transfer the dough onto it
Knead the dough (it should be warm) and thoroughly roll into an elongated shape (until stretchable and smooth)
Shape into a flat dough
Cut the dough into square shape 1cm x 1cm
Roll them in between your palms into a round shape
Steps to cook the Boba:
Add the pearls into boiling water
Sir to prevent sticking
After 5 minutes, the Boba should ‘float’. Leave it and cook for additional 15 minutes with occasional stirrings
There should be a clear layer around the Boba once it is fully cooked
Off the fire and cover for 15 minutes
Drain the cooked Boba
Steps to make Brown Sugar syrup:
Add 150ml water and 50g brown sugar in a pot, dissolve the sugar and bring to boil
After it has a sticky consistency, add the Boba into the mix
Final steps: Add 50g brown sugar in a pot, add the brown sugar boba and stir them

McDonald’s has extended the closure of the 135 restaurants in Singapore and with no confirmation of their reopening date, fans are trying to curb their cravings with frozen nuggets and patties found at supermarket. Unfortunately, they are flying off the shelves at most supermarkets and you’d be considered lucky to find them.
Fret not. You can now take it to the next level by making them at home.
A McDonald’s fan has recreated some of the famous McDonald’s food and is taking the Internet by storm with his recipes on TikTok. Joshuah Nishi, aka Nish Cooks, first shared a video tutorial on how to make the McDonald’s McNuggets in April and has since went viral with 27.9 million views. He went on to create the McDonald’s French Fries and McChicken — with people saying that they look and taste just like the real thing.
