FairPrice selling seedless lychees at $19.95 per punnet from 24 - 30 Jun 2021

Lychee are in season now

Lychee season typically starts in May or June and runs through till September. Those who are fan of this delicious tropical fruit can start to indulge in them. They are relatively cheap and one can get a punnet from local supermarket for less than $5 for about 800g.

If you enjoy lychee but hate picking out the seed, check out the new seedless lychee that is full of flesh. FairPrice is currently selling a punnet (800g) for $19.95 (works out to be about $25/kg) and we think this is a good price considering you’d have to pay around $40-$60 per kg elsewhere.

Each punnet (800g) contains about 36 to 40 of seedless lychees.

You can see that each lychee s fairly huge.

We cut the lychee into half and couldn’t find any seed in it.

The lychee is sweet, flavoursome and tasty. The highlight is that we do not have to spit out the seed after popping them in our mouth. We finished the entire box in one sitting and at times we thought we’re eating seedless grapes.

KFC to launch the new KFC Cheesy Zinger Triple Down Burger from 24 Jun - 3 Jul 2021

KFC’s new Triple Stacked Burger

You think the Double Down is a beast? Wait till you see a triple-stacked burger dethroning it.

That’s right. KFC Singapore will be launching the world-first KFC Cheesy Zinger Triple Down, which as its name suggest, see a triple-decker burger that comes with no buns but all meat — and it’s not one but three generous pieces of Zinger fillets! What sit in between the sandwich are a piece of crispy turkey bacon, a slice of cheese, mayonnaise and KFCs’ signature cheese sauce.

KFC Singapore said that the burger will only be available for 10 days from 24 June to 3 July 2021.

The KFC Cheesy Zinger Triple Down Meal includes one Cheesy Zinger Triple Down, medium fries, and one regular Pepsi Black for $11.20

You can also go for the feast and opt for the KFC Cheesy Zinger Triple Down Box ($13) that comes with one Cheesy Zinger Triple Down, one piece of chicken, one regular fries, one regular serving of whipped potato, and one
regular Pepsi Black.
