Singapore’s iconic chili crab is taking public transport—with a ridiculously cute new look.
Created in collaboration with SimplyGo, Golden Chef and Cheers, the limited-edition SimplyGo EZ-Link Chili Crab Charm stars “Mr Crab”, a bright orange plush character complete with a chili perched on one claw.
More than just an adorable bag accessory, the charm can be used for contactless payments, allowing commuters to tap and travel around Singapore with Mr Crab by their side.
First stop: Cheers at Peranakan Place
The charm makes its first appearance exclusively at Cheers @ Peranakan Place from 14 August 2026.
Collectors hoping to secure one should head down early, as availability is strictly while stocks last. No price was stated in the announcement.
Peranakan Place is only the first stop on Mr Crab’s journey. The limited-edition charm is expected to make its way to more locations around Singapore, with further availability details to be announced.
