Pokémon fans, mark your calendars. KFC Singapore is going all out with The Ultimate Launch by KFC, a nationwide collaboration that brings together exclusive Pokémon merchandise, themed restaurant experiences, Pokémon GO activations, Trading Card Game tutorials, and an all-new Japanese-inspired menu from 19 August to 29 September 2026.

This isn’t just about grabbing a meal. Selected KFC outlets will be transformed into Pokémon-themed destinations, while all 71 KFC restaurants across Singapore will become Pokémon GO PokéStops and Gyms, giving Trainers even more reasons to visit.

Exclusive Pokémon merchandise to collect

Fans can look forward to a lineup of limited-edition collectibles released in stages throughout the campaign.

From 19 August, purchase a Japanese Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites Box to buy a Pokémon Reversible Everyday Blind Pouch for $14.95. Each reversible pouch transforms from a Poké Ball into one of four surprise Pokémon designs: Pikachu, Eevee, Mew or Snorlax.

Starting 9 September, even more merchandise will be available, including:

Poké Ball Bucket for $12.95 with every 5-piece Chicken Bucket purchase.

Pokémon Gaming Chopsticks (Pikachu or Gengar) for $15.95 with any Japanese Nanban order via KFC Delivery, GrabFood or foodpanda.

Limited-edition Pokémon Evolution Jacket featuring Charizard, available for $99 with a qualifying purchase at selected outlets only.

Pikachu Car Neck Pillow (Set of 2) for $32.95 with selected purchases at participating drive-thru and extended-hour stores.

Breakfast lovers won’t miss out either. Purchase selected KFC breakfast meals with Milo before 11am from 19 August to receive a complimentary Pokémon Sticker Sheet, while stocks last.

Five Pokémon-themed KFC outlets

For an even more immersive experience, five KFC restaurants will receive unique Pokémon-themed makeovers inspired by different Pokémon types:

  • KFC NEX – Water
  • KFC JEM – Fire
  • KFC Kallang – Electric
  • KFC Compass One – Ghost
  • KFC Jurong Point – Grass

Expect themed decorations, exclusive photo spots and Pokémon-inspired displays throughout the restaurants.

Pokémon GO, Trading Card Game tutorials and Pikachu meet-and-greets

Beyond the food and collectibles, KFC is organising plenty of activities for Pokémon fans.

All 71 KFC outlets will become official Pokémon GO PokéStops and Gyms throughout the campaign. New players can also sign up for more than 200 Pokémon Trading Card Game tutorial sessions, where participants will receive rewards including a paper playmat, battle decks and vouchers upon completion. Sessions will be held across five outlets from 12 to 20 September and registration is free on a first-come, first-served basis.

Families can also catch Pikachu in person during special meet-and-greet sessions on 29 August at KFC Kallang, KFC SCAPE and KFC Jurong Point.

New Japanese Nanban menu arrives

Alongside the Pokémon collaboration, KFC is also introducing a seasonal Japanese Nanban menu inspired by the popular Japanese fried chicken dish from 19 August.

The lineup includes:

  • Japanese Nanban Zinger – $7.50
  • Japanese Nanban Chicken Bites (6pc) – $6.90
  • Japanese Nanban Loaded Fries – $5.95
  • Sweet Potato Balls – from $3.95

The Japanese Nanban range will also be available as individual meals, box meals, buddy meals and family feasts at KFC outlets islandwide until 29 September, while stocks last.

Whether you’re collecting the exclusive Pokémon merchandise, hunting PokéStops, learning the Trading Card Game or simply craving the new Japanese-inspired menu, KFC’s biggest Pokémon collaboration yet looks set to be one of the most exciting fast-food launches of the season. Just remember — the collectibles are available only while stocks last.

KFC’s Drumstick Plushie, Bucket Bag & Jacket Are Coming To Singapore This August

Ask us questions, discover the latest offers & more on Telegram.

KFC is serving up something you can’t eat this time. Instead of another food launch, the fast-food chain is dropping a brand-new lifestyle merchandise collection featuring some seriously eye-catching collectibles – and the Drumstick Plushie, Bucket Bag, and Finger Lickin’ Good Jacket are stealing the spotlight. The collection marks KFC’s first step into lifestyle merchandise, giving fans a fun new way to bring the brand beyond mealtime.

Leading the collection is the oversized KFC Drumstick Plushie ($23.90). Inspired by KFC’s iconic fried chicken, it’s designed as a soft, huggable plush that’s perfect for your bed, sofa, office chair, or simply as a conversation-starting collectible for die-hard KFC fans.

Another standout is the KFC Bucket Bag ($15.90), which transforms the brand’s famous chicken bucket into a stylish everyday crossbody bag. With its spacious interior, bold red-and-white design and playful details, it’s both functional and instantly recognisable for anyone who loves the Colonel’s signature look.

For those who prefer wearable merch, the KFC Finger Lickin’ Good Jacket ($65.90) offers a more understated take on fan apparel. Finished in a versatile cream colourway with subtle KFC-inspired details, it’s designed for everyday wear while giving a nod to the brand’s famous “Finger Lickin’ Good” slogan.

Rounding out the collection are the KFC Original Red Tumbler ($38.90), designed to keep your favourite drinks close at hand, and the KFC Utility Phone Lanyard ($14.90), which offers a convenient hands-free way to carry your phone while incorporating KFC’s signature red styling. While these are the more practical additions to the lineup, they’re a great complement to the collection’s more collectible pieces.

The KFC SWAGS collection launches on 1 August 2026 and will be available exclusively at KFC Kallang as well as KFC’s dedicated merchandise website, while stocks last. Whether you’re after the adorable Drumstick Plushie, the playful Bucket Bag, the stylish jacket, or the complete five-piece collection, KFC fans finally have a new way to wear and carry their love for the Colonel.

Nguan Express 88 Opens New Jurong West Outlet With $1.90 Char Siew Rice, $0.50 Economy Beehoon & More Budget-Friendly Eats

If you’ve been wanting to try the famous $1.90 chicken rice that put Nguan Express 88 on the map, you no longer have to travel to Ang Mo Kio. The budget-friendly eatery has officially opened a new outlet in Jurong West, bringing its wallet-friendly menu to residents in the West.

Nguan Express 88 first gained attention for serving one of Singapore’s most affordable plates of Chicken Rice at just $1.90. At a time when the price of a typical hawker meal continues to climb, its commitment to keeping everyday meals affordable quickly earned it a loyal following.

The new Jurong West outlet continues that same value-for-money concept. Besides its signature $1.90 Chicken Rice, diners can also enjoy Char Siew Rice for just $1.90. Looking for an even lighter meal? Economy Beehoon starts from only $0.50, making it one of the cheapest breakfast or snack options around.

Those craving a more substantial meal can opt for Economy Rice from $2.50, with a variety of dishes to choose from. Another crowd-pleaser is the $5 Curry Chicken and $5 Potk Trotter, offering a hearty serving of dumplings at an equally attractive price.

Whether you’re looking for a quick breakfast, an affordable lunch or a satisfying dinner without spending a fortune, Nguan Express 88’s latest outlet is worth adding to your list. With prices that are increasingly hard to find in Singapore today, it’s no surprise that the brand has built a strong reputation among bargain hunters.

If you’re in the West, now’s the perfect time to see what the buzz is about—and enjoy one of Singapore’s most affordable chicken rice meals without having to head to Ang Mo Kio.
