Ever tried bungee jumping in your lifetime? Soon you can get that off your bucket list.

Singaporeans and tourists alike will soon have a new attraction to look forward to.

AJ Hackett Sentosa has announced on Friday that Singapore’s first Bungee Tower has begun construction and is slated to complete in late 2016. It will form the tallest landmark on Siloso Beach at 50m high. (That’s about 19-storey high!)

Hackett is a New Zealand entrepreneur who popularised the extreme sport of bungy jumping. (He was made famous when he made an illegal bungee jump from the Eiffel Tower in 1987.)

99% of clients say it’s the best thing they have ever done. – AJ Hackett

The core product of the AJ Hackett International stable of activities is Bungy Jumping. In Singapore, adrenaline junkies can leap off two jump decks in 20 different jump styles in the Double Bungy Jump Deck.

For those who wish to compete with each other can try the Giant Swing (can accommodate 1-3 people per ride), which descend from a 40m height at over 100km/h. It is the only double swing of its kind in the world – a new innovation – which allows customers to race each other, side by side to enhance the experience.

Walk down a building vertically with the Vertical Skywalk. Usually seen as a stunt in movie and performed by special forces, customers can now experience how it feels like by walking down from a 44m-high tower.

If you prefer a less challenging alternative, there is a Sky Bridge where you can walk from 47m above ground on a safe but exposed bridge without the need of a harnessing system.
