Bangkok’s hippiest pop-up ‘Container Market’ will be coming to Singapore from 14 April
Known as Artbox Bangkok, the popular pop-up market have stalls housed in giant metal shipping containers which can be moved around the city in Bangkok.
Something else that makes Artbox all the more appealing is that you won’t find all the usual tacky tourist souvenirs such as on Sukhumvit, Silom and throughout Chattuchak.
The stuff here is still cheap, but there is more of a focus on local designers, vintage fashion, handmade accessories, funky gadgets and hip home décor items. Not a carved wooden frog or Chang vest in sight.
Throw in a few bars, a live music stage and dozens of food vendors, and you have yourself one of Bangkok’s coolest new night markets.
Foodies can also look forward to a variety of Thai snacks.
It will be held at the Bayfront Event Space for two weekends from 14 – 16 April 2017 and 21 – 23 Apr 2017, from 3pm – 11pm.
This is currently the on-site floor plan for the event:
