Get up close and personal with the Formula 1 Grand Prix from 15 – 17 September at FOO’D by Davide Oldani, which is located right next to the race circuit! The restaurant is the Singapore outpost of one Michelin-starred D’O in Cornaredo, just outside Milan. It’s one of the most difficult to book restaurants in Italy.

During the F1 period, diners can indulge in specially curated offerings by its Executive Chef Simone Depalmas and guest chef Lynnette Seah at various live stations, including Oyster Bar, Quattro Formaggio Pot, Italian Cold Cut, Italian Roast Meat Station, Pasta Delights, Lynnette’s Kitchen as well as DRINK cocktail bar – with dishes and drinks available from $6 only.

For those with a penchant for spice, Chef Lynnette will present Peranakan crowd favourites on 16 and 17 September evening such as:

  • Chili Crab Sauce with Mantou: Dip the crisp-fried or steamed pillowy mantou into the flavourful eggy, sweet and spicy sauce cooked with fresh crab meats.
  • Nyonya Laksa: The creamy, rich curry coconut gravy is made of various spices and served with fresh thick noodles, fish cake, steamed prawn, quail egg and Lynnette’s homemade sambal belacan.
  • Peranakan Beef Rendang: Slow-cooked with taramind, coconut milk and over 10 fresh spices from the Southeast Asia region for more than 3 hours, Lynnette’s beef rendang is intensely flavourful and tender – perfect to go with a bowl of white rice.

On this F1 weekend, you may also choose to celebrate the race season in style with FOO’D’s Michelin-worthy Italian Omakase lunch special, which starts from 12pm to 3pm. Some mainstays on the menu include: Viola Foie Gras, Purple Potato, USDA Prime Short Ribs and Smoked Duck with Himalayan Pink Salt and Herbs.
